Terms of Service and Policies

Welcome to Lash & Detail. I kindly ask that you review our terms and policies carefully before booking or receiving any treatments. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to the following terms, which are designed to ensure a smooth and professional experience for all clients.

1. Appointments & Scheduling

  • Late Arrival Policy: I understand that life happens, but in order to respect everyone’s time, I ask that you arrive promptly for your scheduled appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time, and if you are more than 15 minutes late, I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment at my discretion. Full service fees will still apply.

  • No Early Policy: I kindly ask that you do not arrive more than 5 mins early. Please wait in your car or outside until your scheduled appointment time. You can message me to find out if I’m ready for you early - please note I may even be on my break, so please respect my time and space.

2. Cancellation & No-Show Policy

As a self-employed professional, my time is valuable. To cover my business costs and time, the following policies are strictly enforced, regardless of the reason for cancellation:

  • Late Cancellations: Appointments canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled time will incur a fee of 30-50% of the service cost.

  • No-Show Fee: If you do not show up for your appointment and fail to notify me in advance, you will be charged 80-100% of the service cost.

These policies are in place to ensure that I am compensated for my time and in order to protect my business - this means even illness, i still have bills to cover. Giving me as much notice as possible allows me the opportunity to rebook another client during that time slot. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

3. Children and Guests Policy

  • No Children Policy: Due to the nature of our services and safety regulations, we do not allow children in the treatment room or on the premises. Please make necessary childcare arrangements before your appointment.

  • Single Client Per Appointment: For safety and to ensure a calm and professional environment, only the individual receiving the treatment is permitted in the treatment room. Additional guests will be asked to wait outside or in their car.

4. Age Restrictions

  • 18+ Policy for Certain Treatments: Some treatments are only available to clients aged 18 or older. A valid photo ID may be required.

  • Minors (16 and under): Clients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the appointment. Written consent from the parent or guardian may be required for specific treatments.

5. Health and Safety

Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or special considerations prior to booking. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe that the treatment may not be suitable for your specific condition or if we have reason to believe that performing the treatment could pose a risk to your health and safety.

6. Payments

All payments are due at the time of the appointment. We accept bank transfer and cash. If paying bank transfer please pay before or directly after your appointment. I do not have time to be chasing late payments, if you don’t think you will be able to pay after your appointment finishes then you need to pay before you come.

Please note that no-shows, late cancellations, or late arrivals requiring rescheduling will be charged as per our policies outlined above.

7. Refund Policy

I do not offer refunds on services rendered. If you are unsatisfied with your service, please inform me at the time of your appointment, and I will do my best to address your concerns.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy is of utmost importance. All personal information, medical history, and treatment records are kept confidential and will not be shared with any third parties without your consent unless required by law.

9. Liability

By booking an appointment, you agree that Faye Worrall, is not liable for any direct or indirect damages, personal injury, or loss that may occur during or after your treatment. It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or contraindications prior to receiving any treatment both verbally and on consultation forms. You assume full responsibility for the outcome of any service received.

10. Changes to Terms and Policies

I reserve the right to modify these terms and policies at any time without prior notice. Please review them regularly before booking an appointment.

Deposit/Booking Fee Policy

To secure your appointment with Faye, I require a non-refundable deposit. This policy helps to protect both my time and the availability of services for all clients.

1. Deposit Amount

  • Standard Deposit: For most treatments, a deposit of around £15 is required at the time of booking.

  • Variable Deposit: For longer or higher-cost treatments, the deposit amount may vary depending on the nature, cost, and duration of the appointment. You will be informed of the exact deposit required at the time of booking.

2. Payment of Deposit

Deposits must be paid at the time of booking in order to secure your appointment. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received meaning that time and date will be left open for others to book in until deposit is paid.

We accept deposit payments via bank transfer or cash.

3. Non-Refundable Policy

All deposits are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. This ensures that my time as a self-employed professional is protected and that I am compensated for the time held for your appointment.

4. Deposit Forfeiture

Your deposit will be forfeited in the following cases:

  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time, your deposit will not be refunded.

  • No-Show: If you fail to attend your appointment, the deposit will be forfeited.

5. Transfer of Deposit

  • If you reschedule your appointment more than 48 hours in advance, your deposit can be transferred to your new appointment.

  • If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours, the deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to secure any future appointments.

6. Payment of Balance

The remaining balance for your treatment is due at the time of your appointment. If you can not pay at the time of your appointment you must pay before you arrive. The deposit amount will be deducted from the total service cost. We accept cash and bank transfer.
